Project Kickoff Template

We've been using this free Figjam project kickoff template recently and have found it incredibly useful. You can either use this template by yourself, with coworkers or even in a workshop, it's very flexible, very easy to use and provides instant value, which not many templates can achieve.

Whomever built this template must have a really good understanding of UX processes as it includes a lot of well known and useful UX activities such as the impact/effort matrix, the rose, bud and thorn exercise, a risk register plus it includes some questions that are imperative to any new project. It asks who is the user, what are their core problems, what are you solving and a very important question that is frequently ignored until too late: 'what are the metrics to measure success'.

We should note there are other more technical or more comprehensive project kickoff templates available in the Figma community, but keep coming back to this template due to it's simplicity, clear wording and ease of use. Why not try it out today, it's free.
